ELLIS
Age 17 months | Bilateral Retinoblastoma
Little Warrior Ellis was diagnosed with Bilateral Retinoblastoma
in September 2015 when he was just three and a half months
old. After discovering a glow in Ellis’ eye, he was taken to an
opthamologist and upon leaving the clinic, received the devestating
call with his diagnosis and instructions to be at St. Jude on Sunday
(just two days away) to beding treatment.
Ellis completed six rounds of chemotherapy, laser therapy,
countless EUA’s (exams under anesthesia) and, as of today, has
had clear exams with no treatment needed for 20 weeks! He will
continue to have exams every five to six weeks for a while and
space them out as time goes on.
Ellis has two older siblings a brother (Patton, six) and sister (Paige,
five)who adore him and love him so, so much. As his mom shares,
“He is such a strong boy, and amazes us every single day!”
