Today we arrived in Cincinnati, Ohio!
We are greeted by Leah & her 3 Kids, Imani,
BJ & Nia. We are treated to a Delicious
Japanese Hibachi Dinner at Kabuto
Steakhouse with the family to welcome us to
town.

On Day 2 of our vacation, we enjoyed the Festival of Lights at
The Cincinnati Zoo. We completed the evening with a visit to
Cincinnati's legendary Skyline Chili Restaurant.

T H A N K S G I V I N G D A Y 2 0 1 5
On Thursday, we enjoyed a beautiful,
sunny & unseasonably warm 65 degree
day. No car was needed! We walked
across the street from our comfy room to
the historical and classy Phoenix
Restaurant. We enjoyed a fire­side, 5­Star
Thanksgiving Dinner in The President's
Room in Downtown Cincinnati.

On the day after Thanksgiving, we
went "Black Friday" shopping in
Florence "Y'all" (KY). We followed
our mini­shopping spree with a visit
to Gala & family.

this very rainy
Saturday we visited
the beautiful Krohn
Conservatory for
Plants. The featured
exhibit was “The
Poinsettia Express”, a
festive display of
holiday plants, trains,
lights and custom
built lighthouses. The
evening was
completed with a
visit to Leah's State
Farm office & Dinner
at Outback
Steakhouse.

S u n d a y , N o v e m b e r 2 9 t h
Sunday, we took a quick trip to the Cincinnati
History Museum right downtown. This beautiful Art
Deco building, shaped like a half moon, was built in
the 1930's. We took in all of the history exhibits on
each floor of the museum. We went late, so we
practically had the whole museum to ourselves! We
also took in all the Christmas decor at the Holiday
Train Exhibit. For dinner we enjoyed Hand­Tossed
Pizza at Cincinnati Favorite: LaRosa'a Pizzeria.

On Monday, final day of
our trip, we stopped by
one of our very favorite
places in town, Meier
Winery. Meier is
Cincinnati's oldest and
largest winery. This
was the perfect ending
to the perfect trip, and
our final stop before
our return home to
Chicago!
