GEACRYL ® is not a plastic material but
a composite of natural mineral fillers and high
quality binding polymers, perfectly compact
and with excellent mechanical strength, coated
with a layer of resin which gives gloss, chemical
resistance, elegance and gives a feeling to the
touch very similar to a ceramic product but with
even more qualities.
The advantage of GEACRYL ® is that it creates
very technical form objects with perfectly
specular surfaces. It also guarantees absolute
impermeability and hygiene for everyday use.
It is resistant to chemicals used for cleaning
and has antibacterial, flame retardant and
self-extinguishing properties. It can be cut and
drilled with normal woodworking tools. It can
also be glued, for example for double and cased
washbasins. The material is produced entirely in
Italy in compliance with current environmental
regulations. The product complies with current
UNI EN 14688.
Elegant and pleasant to the touch
The surface coating film gives artifacts in Geacryl ®
a surface sheen that makes them elegant, pleasant
to the touch and very similar to ceramic material.
Polished
The sinuous shapes and absence of joints make
it eye-pleasing, creating continuous surfaces and
specular glossy finish.
Hygienic and easy to clean
The surfaces can be cleaned and restored in most
cases with a soft cloth and water.
Easy to work
Can be cut, drilled, milled, planed or inlaid with
normal woodworking tools.
Photoluminescence
A particular line of products with photo
luminescent characteristics: the material exposed
to sunlight or artificial light, acquires light energy
which is then released as phosphorescence
for hours, overnight or however when the light
source is switched off. The process for storing
and releasing light lasts for the entire life of
the manufactured article, since it is an intrinsic
property of the material,it is not subject to
deterioration over time.
