Chen Art Gallery<br />
<strong>OLLI</strong> is pleased to arrange a field trip to the Chen Art Gallery for<br />
a guided tour that takes visitors through many rooms dedicated<br />
to the private collection of Dr. Tei-Fu Chen. Over the past twenty<br />
years, Dr. Chen has collected a magnificent array of world-class<br />
artifacts ranging from traditional Chinese furniture; jade, bronze<br />
sculpture, porcelain and pottery, and paintings. The gallery includes<br />
a surprise exhibit of Picasso’s 100 original etchings often referred to<br />
as a “rare set” and “masterpieces.”<br />
The tour does not include lunch or transportation. Please wear<br />
comfortable shoes. Note that there is no sitting or restrooms inside<br />
the gallery.<br />
Directions to the Chen Art Gallery: From the campus take Victoria<br />
Street West to Western Avenue; turn left on Western Avenue and<br />
go to Carson Street. Make a right on Carson and another right<br />
on Abalone. Look for the Sunrider building on the immediate left.<br />
Parking is free.<br />
