DIARY ENTRY
This year marks our third Westward Cup since it was started
in 2010. You may know Westward as one of the Big Class, an
absolute legend within the classic yachting world. There are few
sights in this world like a schooner with those proportions charging
down towards you with spinnaker and gollywobbler flying, and a
churning bow wave announcing its arrival. Eleonora, a replica
of this famous yacht, carries on this tradition through the hard
work and passion of an amazing crew. You can always count on
them to put a smile on your face when you meet up in the pub
after racing, and you know they’re going to give you everything
they’ve got on the water the next day. M.O.
