The Colorado Plateau is the ancient home to the Ute Indians. This
is the notable Four Corners, where Utah, Colorado, Arizona and
New Mexico are joined.
The rich grasslands attracted buffalo, rabbits,
antelope, deer that the Ute hunted.
Nuts, berries, roots and greens were plentiful,
providing an enviable diet for the nomadic
Utes. Today, Interstate 80 dissects
Colorado and Utah on the way to the Bay
Bridge in San Francisco.
