The surface water environment can be considered to be an important part of the geoenvironment.

hazardous materials and the phenomenon of eutrophication. It also examines the remediation
techniques developed to restore the health of the sediments and how to evaluate the
remediation technologies using indicators.The problems of sediment contamination are
developed in addition to how they can be remediated and how the treatments can be
evaluated.
