LIT Boys of July 2006
(To the Tune of American Pie)
A long long time ago
We can still remember how much fun it was to be like you
Now we’re not campers or CIT’s
In the gray zone that’s where we’ll be
We’re LIT’s and this is how we do
The windy triangle made us tough
The wind was cold and the waves were rough
The trainers said to egg beat more
By the end our muscles were sore
Everyday we beat the sun
When we got up for our morning run
And we’ve all had so much fun
But now LIT’s is done, we were singing
CHORUS
Bye Bye LIT’s of July
Bye to Wabanaki, Belwood and to Camp Ki-Wa-y
All the obstacles we face we could barely get by
We cannot believe we survived x2
Did you have to do bronze cross
And did you have faith in the brother of Ross
If the trainers told you so
And did you have to portage canoes
In your only muddy pair of shoes
That were soaked and wet all the way through
And Ben told us to run a mile
Naryan asked us “what’s your style”
We all dropped to our knees
And did push ups till we couldn’t breathe
Julie never had to raise her tone
Nineteen guys filled with testosterone
We never had any time alone
We were singing
CHORUS x 2
