during summer.<br />

who wisely resolved the<br />

problem of scarcity of drinking<br />

water in Parkal town?<br />

He is non-other than our<br />

Racharla Parameshwar<br />

padmashali, who took<br />

charge as Commissioner of<br />

Parkal Nagara Panchayath<br />

on <strong>16</strong> th September 2015<br />

had settled the long pending<br />

problem and proved himself as a<br />

successful officer. The Parkal people<br />

applauded the yeomen services of the<br />

Commissioner for tactfully resolving<br />

the drinking water problem in Parkal<br />

town since it had experienced acute<br />

scarcity of drinking water after 15<br />

years, during summer. Though the villagers<br />

of Jogampally deny to draw<br />

drinking water from Jogampally Reservoir,<br />

he had successfully arbitrated and<br />

convinced those villagers to get the<br />

water from Jogampally Reservoir to<br />

Chalivagu Check Dam in the first<br />

phase. He had played an instrumental<br />

role in the diversion of Godavari water<br />

to Parkal town under Devadula project<br />

in the second phase by influencing the<br />

government and local public representatives<br />

as a permanent solution for<br />

drinking water problem in Parkal town.<br />

In the meantime to overcome the scarcity<br />

of drinking water, his efforts for<br />

continuous supply of drinking water<br />

with about 70 to 80 Tankers, every day<br />

to the people of Parkal were praised by<br />

one and all.<br />

Racharla Parameshwar was<br />

born in a poor weaving family in Rayaparthy<br />

(v), Parkal (M) of (erstwhile Warangal<br />

district, United AP State)<br />

Warangal Rural of Telangana State. He<br />

was the last of seven children (sons)<br />

born to Sri.Venkata Narsaiah and<br />

Smt.Shyamala.<br />

As a child, Parameshwar helped his<br />

father in the weaving at his village and shown<br />

his zeal and zest in studies since his<br />

childhood. He completed his primary<br />

education in UPS Rayaparthy and higher<br />

secondary education in Ghanpur (Mulug) and<br />

subsequently completed his Intermediate at<br />

Parkal, Degree (BA) in LB College, Warangal.<br />

He got 4 th Rank in Master’s degree/PG i.e. MA<br />

(Political Science) and did B.Ed., from Kakatiya<br />

University. He also qualified for UGC NET and<br />

also completed his Pre-Ph.D.<br />

After his studies, he started an educational<br />

institution, RD. Junior College in Hanamkonda,<br />

rendered his services as a Director<br />

cum Lecturer with commitment and dedication<br />

to students and played a pivot role in securing<br />

good ranks to his students during 2001 to<br />

2005.<br />

In the meantime, Racharla<br />

Parameshwar had succeeded in the APPSC<br />

Group-IIA exams and got appointed as<br />

Co-operative Sub-Registrar in Co-operative<br />

Department in 2005. Before that he narrowly<br />
