• Contractor would get their first payment after completion of 30% total project
activity, rest would be on dem<strong>and</strong>
• Prior to payment, the advisory board would visit all three locations for payment
certification.
• RHD should be the top supervisor <strong>and</strong> owner of the project. The project should be
h<strong>and</strong>ed over to them after completion.
• Total project should be properly documented for future purpose.
4.4 Concluding comments
The chapter summarizes the progress of highway intervention for the whole project period.
Contractor was selected through tendering. Site has been h<strong>and</strong>ed over in time. Necessary
resource deployment <strong>and</strong> mobilization works were on time. Transportation, logistics <strong>and</strong>
procurement of the construction materials were done in time. Condition survey, topographical
survey <strong>and</strong> pre-sections survey works on the project were completed before construction.
Necessary material test were in regular progress for quality control aspect. <strong>Safe</strong>ty precaution
taken by the contractor was satisfactory. However due to weather condition <strong>and</strong> adverse
socio -economic condition, the activity required more time than planned to be completed.
