tokenized blockchains within a wide range of business sectors. From 2010-2013, he consulted<br />

with a number of Fortune 500 companies and led a syndicate of investors interested in the<br />

convergence of social media and identity technologies.<br />

Between 2006-2010 Mr. Willard consulted with the MGM Resorts corporation for global digital<br />

projects, including mobile and social media applications. During this time he was the lead<br />

consultant for internal and external digital signage and the lead on social media and mobile<br />

integration with signage, for application to MGM Resort properties worldwide, including their<br />

US and Asia properties. From 2001-2006, he was lead consultant to Winston & Company,<br />

designing display and back-end technology systems for many of the LED display projects in<br />

Times Square, New York City and working closely with major international brands such as Coca-<br />

Cola, Toshiba, LG. Anheuser Busch, Mars, and others.<br />

In 1994 he founded Mediamerge, one of the first “dotcoms” in New York’s emerging Silicon<br />

Alley. His clients included Calvin Klein Cosmetics, Lucent Technologies, Unilever and others. He<br />

sold his interest in that company to private investors in 1999. His first company, Beam<br />

Communications, was founded in 1990 and was the first company in North America devoted to<br />

HDTV outdoor advertising technology. Beam’s clients and partners included Sony of America,<br />

Japan Broadcasting Company, Columbia Pictures, and Met Life.<br />

Mr. Willard received his undergraduate degree from Howard University’s School of<br />

Communications. He is a Fellow of the Foreign Policy Association, an Advisor to the Field Center<br />

for Entrepreneurship at Baruch College’s Zicklin School of Business in New York City, a Board<br />

member of the Seidenberg Center for Computer Science at Pace University in New York, and a<br />

Blockchain Startup Advisor with the famous Silicon Valley incubator Plug And Play. He remains<br />

an internationally-sought speaker, featured at the Harvard Business School, the Kaufmann<br />

Institute, All Payments Spain/Australia, with numerous media engagements over the years<br />

including CNN, CNBC, and CNN International. Mr. Willard is also mentioned in Michael J. Casey<br />

and Paul Vigna’s seminal book on the origins of the cryptocurrency movement “The Age of<br />

Cryptocurrency”, as being one of the initial venture catalysts of the current digital currency<br />
