In a distributed future, where a more effective use of resources is the norm, the consumer acts
more and more as a producer as well (energy, small service or equipment provider and even
investor). This requires a significant change of mindset for our society. In a circular economy the
access to a service is considered to be more important than the possession of a product. This
social and technological revolution requires a different education system that can explain the
reasons why we need to change and provide the right knowledge base for the next generation.
