Well, after a defeat you have to look for positives to<br />
take into the next game. Seven straight defeats tells<br />
its own story but we’re not looking for excuses. Ten<br />
positional changes, eight different personnel from last<br />
week, yet another back four and we are playing a side<br />
that are pretty established and have the same team<br />
nearly every week. So we have to look for any positives.<br />
Firstly, the lads that came in did a job and put a shift<br />
in, especially first half, and, apart from one killer pass,<br />
should have gone in level at half-time.<br />
This week we started slowly giving far too much<br />
time to our opposition and to be honest we looked<br />
disjointed and off the pace, resembling a side that had<br />
hardly trained together. Fact was they hadn’t.<br />
We went behind after 15 minutes and you feared<br />
a long afternoon. No<br />
dugouts, a terrible surface<br />
and nothing felt good<br />
about the day. However,<br />
here’s a positive: for the<br />
next 28 minutes the lads<br />
rolled their sleeves up,<br />
upped the tempo and<br />
moved the ball quickly.<br />
We looked like we actually<br />
wanted it and had Cubo<br />
on the back foot.<br />
We were awarded a<br />
penalty after 30 minutes<br />
following sustained<br />
pressure and Tom<br />
dispatched it for a well<br />
deserved equaliser. We<br />
were actually on top and<br />
went for it. However, on<br />

so carried away attacking,<br />
that one pass split our<br />

to recent weeks. When we do create chances at key<br />
moments we don’t take them and we always look like<br />
we will concede goals.<br />
Having a completely different team every week really<br />
doesn’t help, along with the amount of weekly changes
and players not training<br />
regularly.<br />
We really could go on<br />
but like I said there are<br />
positives because there is<br />
talent there and we just<br />
have to get the players<br />
together at training and<br />
we really are not far away.<br />
Commitment , passion,<br />
determination and desire<br />
is what’s needed going<br />
forward and that alone will<br />
get some results.<br />
