We are all over the moon that summer
is here. However, these are the days
that make us feel like we are going to
melt in the rays of the sun. Every city girl wants
to look polished no matter what the weather
conditions. Here are my summer makeup tips
(and product recommendations) to remain
looking flawless even when the humidex can
make us feel anything but cool.

CHOOSE YOUR DAILY
SUNSCREEN WISELY
Opt for a sunscreen that is light-weight,
oil-free, fragrance free, non-greasy
and great under makeup. My absolute
favourite is Kiehl’s Super Fluid UV
Defense SPF 50+. With sunscreen that
is 50+ and water-resistant, your skin is
protected in any situation, even when you
have decided to meet your girlfriends on a
sun-filled patio for happy hour cocktails.

YOUR SKIN
Benefit Cosmetics recently launched a
new pre-makeup matte gel to keep your
chosen cosmetic applications in place all
day: The POREfessional: Matte Rescue
Invisible Finish Mattifying Gel is to
be applied under your POREfessional
Primer (sold separately). What it does
is reduces shine and absorbs excess
