● This growth further compresses disc springs, thereby<br />

not damaging bolts or compression gasket.<br />

● As bolt temperature approaches that of flange members<br />

during stable operations, disc spring relaxes to original<br />

preload position, thereby producing the optimal gasket<br />

sealing force.<br />

Independent tests have shown a “live loaded” valve can operate up to 100 times longer than a<br />

conventionally loaded valve.<br />
