Rimmed or collar end to prevent slip-through.
• Screw must be at least 1/8" longer than plug length
plus fixture thickness.
• Larger diameter screws result in better holding
power. (Screws not included.)
• The Anchor is made from high grade nylon and
is resistant to weather and ageing in a temperature
range -40° to +80°C.
–Triple segments spread for optimum compression transfer and extraordinary holding strength.
–Segments spread, buckle, twist and knot behind walls guaranteeing firm, secure hold.
–Star-shaped ridges and body-length fins prevent anchor rotation in soft materials and
oversizes holes.
–Ideal for concrete, cinder blocks, ceiling plates, lightweight concrete and sheet rock.
–“K” barbed plug is a 4 sector plug with rim and large overlapping barbs that deform
to produce the best possible grip in any building material.
–One plug size takes a wide range of screw gauges, both conventional and twinfast.
–The plug is designed so that as the screw is tightened the plug is compressed along its axis
and the barbs expand and lock into the wall material, also into cavities.
–In cavities this leads to an extra grip in addition to that achieved by the knotting up of the plug.
–In low density blocks the barbs are forced into the wall material while the rigid neck prevents
the surface cracking – you get the best possible pullout values.
– The Longplug frame fixing anchor will grip in any wall material as follows: In concrete
and masonry the screw expands the plug as in a regular frame fixing. In hollow
blocks and in plasterboard cavity walls the screw grips into the end of the plug and
pulls it back into a knot making a secure hold.
– Frame fixing is used for flush fixing of frames and of studwork in partition walls.
– The collar fits flush and also prevents anchor from slipping too far into a cavity.
– When fixing metal profiles it is essential to drill a countersink to ensure a flush fixing.
