A sturdy, one piece, all metal locknut
with flanged base that provides
extra strength, gaps oversized
and elongated holes, and spreads bolt
load over larger area.
Finish: Cadmium Plated & Waxed or Zinc Plated - Our Option.
Heat resistant to at least 288°C.
Grade F (.23 max. carbon steel)
Grade F Flange Prevailing Torque Nuts are not heat-treated
and have a minimum proof stress of 120,000 PSI.
For use with SAE Grade 1, 2, 3 and 5 bolts.

Has all the locking power of standard top distortion
Locknuts (pages C37 & C38) plus the advantages of
a super flange design. Eliminates the need for extra
parts, simplifies inventory, spans and gaps oversize
and elongated holes and increases area of contact
for greater load distribution.
Heat resistant to at least 288°C
Lock on Top - allows nut to be threaded,
almost all the way on the bolt before
wrenching is required.
