A specially designed high profile
arrowhead shaped hook
configuration. This hook was
engineered to be mated with various
woven and knitted loops, with
reticulated foam (pore sizes 10
through 60), uncut loop carpeting,
and woven filter materials. Mated
with the correct loop it is especially
suitable for fastener applications in
Automotive and Aircraft assembly
where high strength and low opening
and closing cycles are the design
parameters.

This molded hook tape may be
“cycled” with a mating loop tape
25-40 times.
The strength of VELCRO ® fasteners is dependent mainly on the
pressure applied in closing, plus other minor factors. Prototype
products should be tested prior to production.
Caution
Coupled with this high holding strength are several features which restrict the usage of the moulded tapes.
• The semi-flexible hook increases degraduation of the loop component and limits cycle life.
• Moulded tapes tend to become brittle in cold temperatures.

BACK TO BACK UTILITY TAPE
STRAP FASTENERS
Back to Back is a continuous two-sided hook and loop self wrapping and
reusable fastening tape. Production is achieved by permanently adhering
the VELCRO hook and loop tape backs together.
The standard product combination consists of VELCRO hook #88 with
Loop #1000. Other tape combinations are available by special order.
