3.6. Analyzing the relationship between variables
In order to analyze the relation between the variables of the model (personality and its
dimensions; organizational citizenship behavior and its dimensions) multiple regression has been
used. In this line, the structural equation modeling and specifically the structural models (path
analysis) have been used. It needs to be mentioned that for confirming or refusing the hypotheses
standard coefficient 8 and significant numbers 9 (refer to the footnotes where they have been
8 - What is meant by standard coefficient is the amount of bi-correlations (between two variables). It is used for
comparing the effect of the components of the model. The more the coefficient the more the independent variable
influences the dependent one.
