CONCLUSIONS
Conclusions of the study were as follows:
1. The philosophic views of secondary school teachers were found to be highly in favour of
existentialism and least in favour of realism.
2. The male teachers were tending to be inclined towards existentialism whereas female teachers
inclined towards idealism.
RECOMMENDATIONS
1. In-service training curriculum should include subject of educational Philosophies on priority
bases.
2. Perspective teachers should be made abreast with the classical educational Philosophies.
3. Perspective teachers should be made trained to bring educational Philosophies into practice.
4. The subject of philosophy be taught through dialogue and discussion instead of lecture
method only. This approach will help the teachers to philosophize and develop their own
clear and consistent philosophy of education.
