8.Method of research<br />

Since the aim of this research was to determine causal relationships among organizational<br />

identity, organizational commitment and organizational citizenship behavior variables, so<br />

according to the goal, this study is applied research and according to the manner of<br />

collecting information, this study is descriptive- correlation research type. In this regard,<br />

regression analysis and path analysis were used.<br />

9.Tools of Data collection<br />

The main tool to gather data was a questionnaire and to measure organizational identity<br />

and organizational commitment, Ashforth and Mayer questionnaires respectively were<br />

used and also Organ questionnaire was used to measure of organization citizenship<br />

behavior. For measuring reliability and validity 30 questionnaires as pre-test was used.<br />

For validity measurement the factorial validity was used. Load factor of all questions was<br />

more than 0/7. This represents that the questionnaire is valid.<br />

Confidence coefficient (reliability) was calculated using Cronbach's alpha coefficient,<br />

which these values respectively for the questionnaire of organizational identity 0/875,<br />

organizational commitment 0/894 and organizational citizenship behavior 0/856 was<br />

calculated.<br />

10.Statistical population and sample<br />

Population of this study was all of employees of Educational Department of Isfahan<br />

province, with population 300 people who were randomly sampled. The statistical<br />

sample size using formula of limited population, was equal to 100.<br />

11.Data analysis<br />

First the Kolmogorof - Smirnoff test was used to evaluate normality of variables, output<br />

of SPSS software in Table 1 are shown.<br />
