Sean shares his knowledge and experience
through workshops and talks on various
topics, including propagation and pruning
for beginners, organic gardening and food
production, and frog pond and wildlife habitat
creation. “I teach people how to breed and
look after tadpoles and other animals to
increase their numbers,” he says.
Sean runs regular pond-building
workshops and talks all over the Sunshine
Coast, at the Nambour Gardening Festival
and, recently, at the Planting Festival, giving
participants the opportunity to learn through
the hands-on building process. Sean was also
featured on the television series Totally Wild,
building a pond with his daughter, Luna.

Plant your annual vegetables and
herbs according to the moon cycles
for increased plant vigour and yield.
Allow your plants to go to seed. You
can spread this seed around the
garden or let it naturally germinate.
Propagate your own plants (where
possible) from cuttings, seeds, root
division, layering etc.
Attract an abundance of wildlife
into your garden and create a living
ecosystem where pest imbalances
are taken care of by natural elements
within the system.
Observe what is happening in the
garden on a daily, weekly, monthly,
seasonal basis. Take note and act on
these observations.
