Jyden has three well-known farrowing wings which - over decades - have been installed and tested by pig producers worldwide. 

The farrowing wings have an unique design with functionality and usability in focus.

The farrowing wings can be adjusted stepwise at the trough rail and at the rear gate so that the farrowing crate can be adjusted

Jyden’s SWING-feeders have 16 different settings in regards to feed options - and the 

adjusting handle can be turned around, making it possible to see the choice of setting from 

any angle. 

The lid of the feeder has a large flap for manual feeding and on the back of the lid there is an 

universial intake for automatic feeding. The feed hopper is transparent, making it possible to 

follow the quantity of feed from a distance. 

STRONG AND IMPROVED FEEDER! 

-> stabilized water supply as the new valve can be adjusted and positioned 

in height to fit the bottom of the trough. 

-> stronger construction as the separation clamps are mounted on the 

frame, thus not burden the water pipes.

AQUA LEVEL 

AQUA LEVEL is a perfect water solution for weaners, finishers and sows in farrowing, mating, 

control and gestation units. 

IMPROVED MEMBRANE HELPS TO ENSURE INCREASED WATER CONSUMPTION! 

AQUA LEVEL is operated by means of a vacuum which forces the rubber membrane to shut off 

the water supply. The vacuum is formed as the water absorbs air in the valve chamber, thus 

regulating the water flow. The pigs are thus provided with a constant water level, motivating 

them to drink more. Increased water consumption by newly weaned pigs is a great advantage, 

as it increases early growth rates; and the increased water consumption by nursing sows provides 

a higher milk yield.

Area of application 

The terms and conditions below will apply for business made with Jyden (hereafter specified as “the company”) unless notified in a written agreement. 

Resale 

Resale is prohibited without the company’s approval. 

The offer 

The offer is only valid with a signed acceptance by the company. 

Terms and conditions of delivery 

The company reserves the right to adjust the rates on the invoice if they have changed on the day of delivery. The dates of delivery are temporary. Final delivery 

dates are confirmed by the company. Delivery is ex works unless stated in written by the company.The buyer has no right to make any claims or to cancel the 

order due to a late delivery time unless it is stated in written by the company. 

Purchase in replacement will not be accepted, and demands of compensation for profit loss due to a late delivery will be denied. The company takes no 

responsibility upon the occurrence of any event of force majeure from acceptance to delivery of the order. Unless stated in written by the company, all prices 

are excluding freight and packaging. 

Mounting 

Mounting of the goods is not included unless stated in written by the company. The cost of any mounting is always notified as a net cost. 

Please refer to our conditions for mounting. 

Claims 

At the time of delivery, the buyer must make an inspection of the goods to ensure that they are okay. Any claim must be made in written and sent to the 

company within 8 days of delivery. Claims do not entitle the buyer to detain the payment for deliveries made. 

Returning goods 

The buyer is only entitled to return goods manufactured as standard products, and only by a written agreement with the company. Any returning goods 

– concerning new and undamaged goods - must be returned within 30 days from the day of deliver. Returning goods must be resent at buyers cost. When 

crediting the goods, an individual assessment will be made prior deducting, however at least 15% will be deducted for packaging and freight cost. 

Payment 

Unless otherwise agreed by the company in writing, payment shall be made in full within 8 days of the date of invoice (prepayment). If the payment deadline is 

not respected, 2% per month will be added to the invoice. The company provides no discount unless stated in written by the company. All prices are plus VAT. 

Title of ownership 

All goods remain the property of the company or to whom the company has assigned its rights until payment is fully paid. Letter of credit is not considered as 

payment until redemption has taken place. 

Guarantee 

The company provides 1 year guarantee from the date of invoice for parts of own manufactured products. Regarding trade goods the manufacturers guarantee 

will apply. The guarantee means that the defective goods, returning at buyers cost will be replaced with new similar goods. If this is not possible, the price will 

be credited the buyer. The company shall be under no liability in respect of any loss, earnings, freight cost or other cost due to any replacement of goods. 

The guarantee does not cover damage caused by changes made by unskilled personnel as well as damage caused by deviations from general guidelines that 

are given for operation and maintenance of the equipment. 

Liability (products) 

The company shall not be liable for personal injury unless it is proved that the injury is caused by error of the company or others that the company is responsible 

for. The company shall not be liable for damage of property etc. occurring while the goods are in the possession of the buyer. The company shall not be liable for 

damage of products manufactured by the buyer or to products incorporated such products. Moreover, the company shall be liable for damage of property under 

the same conditions as for personal injuries. The company is not liable for loss of earnings or other indirect losses. In case that the company may be liable for 

products of third parties, the buyer is committed to keep the company at the same point of liability that the company is limited by. 

These limitations of the company’s liability do not apply if the buyer has been guilty of gross negligence. If third party makes any claims of liability to either buyer 

or the company, this party shall immediately notify the other party. 

The company and the buyer are mutually obliged to let themselves be summoned to the court or arbitration tribunal (in Denmark), dealing with compensation 

claims that are made against one of them on the basis of damage allegedly caused by the material.

TERMS & CONDITIONS 

STANDARD CONDITIONS FOR MOUNTING 

Area of application 

Mounting includes only goods sold and delivered by Jyden (hereafter specified as “the company”) and mounted in accordance with the approved drawings. 

Mounting shall not be started if it cannot be completed in a consistent workflow. 

Access conditions 

An accessible road must be established to enter the mounting area with a full loaded truck including crane and trailer. 

Maximum 5 meters from the housing unit 

It must be possible to unload the goods maximum 5 meters from the entrance of the housing unit in which the goods shall be mounted. Doors or openings of 

the wall must be provided in all housing units to avoid long distances in regards to indoor transportation of the goods. Labor cost for moving goods beyond the 

agreed must be paid by the buyer. 

Cleaning 

The housing unit must be clean and emptied for building materials, packaging etc. The buyer shall provide a waste container or a designated place for waste to 

be unloaded. 

Other craftsmen 

No other craftsmen must be working in the housing unit that will be allocated for mounting. 

Toilet and sanitation 

Toilet and sanitation conditions must be available for our fitters. 

Animals 

No animals are allowed at the housing unit that will be allocated for mounting. 

Electricity 

There must be sufficient light at the housing unit and access to electricity (16 Amp.) must be available. 

Other tasks 

Mounting does not include the establishment or modification of installations for electricity, water, oil and other works such as carpentry and masonry work 

(including preparing and finishing drill holes, solid post embedment etc.) or any other form of secondary work. The contractor/ buyer is responsible that the 

pipeline of water and electricity is made minimum 100 mm. beneath the concrete floor. We assume that walls and floors are of a quality suitable for mounting. 

Mounting work 

For mounting, it is assumed that there is one start-up per housing section and that each housing section can be fitted continuously. If the housing unit is not 

ready for mounting at the time agreed, it must be advised at least 3 weeks in advance. 

We aim for maximum flexibility but for postponement of the mounting term, a new mounting term will be planned, depending on other mounting tasks which 

are settled on time. If case of any vain expenses and other deviations from the agreement, the company reserves the right to invoice the buyer. If the equipment 

must be mounted on substantially shorter time than the time normally spent on mounting, the company will by prior arrangement invoice additional cost (forcing 

costs). Until the company’s mounting is completed and shipment is delivered and paid for, the buyer is obliged make an insurance that covers loss or damage 

of any cause. If such insurance is not made by the buyer, the company is entitled as if the insurance was made. 

Additional mounting of any supplementary order - after the final mounting - will be invoiced. Clean-up beyound normal standard will be invoiced separately. 

Especially for cattle housing 

- For rubber mats with foam the concrete must be cured at least 3 weeks prior mounting. 

- There is no guarantee on rubber mats for mounting in buildings where the temperature is below 0 degrees. 

Especially for pig housing 

- When mounting plastic slats or water pipes, the housing unit and materials must be heated to mini. 12 degrees for the sake of hardening the glue and the 

coefficients of expansion. 

- For farrowing and weaner units with fully drained plastic slats, the channels must be emptied of water. 

- Be aware that the channel walls are to be cast straight and with exact measurements. 

- Remember that recess occurs in correct depth, if required. 

- Embedding cribs in mating and gestation units must be made so that the base plates of the crates can be placed against the crib. 

- Concrete must cure at least 5 days before drilling. 

- Water for flushing the pipes must be connected by the last working day on site, so that valves can be mounted. By later mounting of valves, you are billed extra. 

Especially for ventilation and feeding system 

- Routing of cables for controllers, motors etc. is not included in the mounting work by Jyden. 

- The customer is in charge of feeding of power and cables for control signals. 

- Mounting of ceiling and wall inlets is not included in the mounting and never performed by Jyden. 

- Mounting of controllers etc is not included in the mounting work by Jyden, unless otherwise agreed in writing in the contract.
