Strychnos ignatii<br />

The bitter fruit has the size of a lemon. They are yellow and hard berries. In the meat they contain up to 40<br />

Ignatius beans (= seedsn) which are covered with light hairs.The seeds are hard as stones (Philippines). Three<br />

quarters of active ingredients is the cramp venom Strychnin. Nux vomica contains only half as much Strychnin.<br />

IDEA: Deep grief (Phos ac, Nat mur)<br />

Fugacity of symptoms<br />

e.g. blood pressure crisis and normal data after a short time. Hands ice cold ,vascular spasms!<br />

This substance contains more Strychnine than Nux vomica<br />

After grief and worries, sighing, feeling of asphyxiation, globus hystericus.<br />

Hysteria, swollowing, fear, rectum prolapse Schlucken, Furcht, Rektumprolaps, clavus,<br />

sensation of sinking down, marked remedy for females<br />

Heart disease. The superficial and erratic character of its symptoms is most characteristic.<br />

Produces a marked hyperaesthenia of all the senses, and a tendency to clonic spasms.<br />

Mentally, emotional element is most marked.<br />

It is especially adapted to the nervous temperament - women of sensitive, easily excited<br />

nature, dark, mild disposition, quick to perceive, rapid in execution. Rapid change of mental<br />

and physical condition, opposite to each other. Great contradictions. Alert, nervous,<br />

apprehensive, rigid, trembling patients who suffer acutely in mind or body.<br />

Worse by drinking coffee. Cannot bear tobacco. Pain is small, circumscribed spots ( Oxal-ac.)<br />

Hiccough and hysterical vomiting.<br />

Black Plague.<br />

BETTER: while eating, change of position.<br />

WORSE: in the morning, open air, after meals, coffee, smoking, liquids, external warmth.
