2016 marks the 10 th anniversary of the EAGE Moscow Office. Over the past<br />
10 years this office has made huge strides in providing support to the<br />
Russian & CIS geoscience and engineering communities by publishing newsletters,<br />
organizing events and increasing membership in the region.<br />

It is 10 years already since the EAGE’s Middle East regional office opened. There<br />
were only 434 members in the region in 2005, the year before the office began<br />
operations. Today membership is well over 2000, suggesting that the provision<br />
of EAGE’s events and services are meeting an untapped demand. In future years<br />
we expect to continue growing in this region by providing our members with<br />
publications and events.<br />

NEW OPENING LATIN AMERICA OFFICE<br />
In 2016 we not only celebrated the 10 year anniversary of our Middle<br />
East and Russia & CIS offices but we also opened the Latin America office<br />
in Bogota, Colombia.<br />
The aim of establishing our new office is to better serve the Latin<br />
American geoscience and engineering communities and to increase our<br />
membership in this important region.<br />
