Another excursions in Bolivia.<br />

TIWANAKU:<br />

Half-day tour. Arrive to Tiwanaku at 09:30 for<br />

visiting the Lithic and the Ceramic local<br />

museums, and also visit archeological remains<br />

in Akapana Pyramid, the Semisubterranean<br />

temple, the Kalasasaya, the Gate of the Sun<br />

and monolith representations. Inclusions:<br />

Shared transport, bilingual english-spanish<br />

guide.<br />

COROICO FULL DAY: 8 hours tour.<br />

Transport to “La Cumbre” at 4650 m.a.s.l.. Drive<br />

for about two hours through impressive a<br />

snaking mountain road between cliffs and<br />

rocky walls down to the Yungas rain forest<br />

located at 1700 m.a.s.l. In Coroico visit coca,<br />

coffee, fruit crops according to season. Lunch<br />

included. Inclusions: Private transportation, a<br />

bilingual guide and lunch.<br />

COROICO 2D/IN:<br />

Day 1: Pick up Hotel and drive to “ La Cumbre”<br />

at 4650 m.a.s.l. Arrival and accommodation at<br />

Hotel Viejo Molino or similar. Lunch and by the<br />

afternoon, hike through coca leaves, coffee and<br />

fruit crops according to season. (L, D)<br />

Day 2: Breakfast and free morning to take a<br />

relaxing bath at the Hotel´s swimming pool or<br />

hike around. Lunch is not included. (B)<br />

Inclusions: Private transportation, bilingual<br />

english/spanish tour guide, Night at Hotel Viejo<br />

POTOSI: CITY TOUR & CASA DE LA<br />

MONEDA: We visit the Mint, Cobija Arch, San<br />

Lorenzo Church, Central Market, San Francisco<br />

viewpoint, main square, La Merced Church,<br />

Compañia de Jesús Tower.<br />

Inclusions: Entrances: For museums. Guide.<br />

POTOSI – COOPERATIVE MINES (Half Day)<br />

: Pick up from your hotel toward the miner<br />

market, where you will be able to buy presents<br />

for the miners that you will meet inside the<br />

mine. To visit inside the mine, you will be taken<br />

to a miner cloth deposit in where you will wear<br />

special security gear, such us: rubber boots,<br />

helmets, head lamps, batteries, and water proof<br />

jackets. The most important cooperative mines<br />

are located at 4250 meters above the sea<br />

level, and depending on your adaptation you<br />

will be visiting several levels under the soil, or<br />

just go in the first 150 or 200 meters away<br />

from the main entrance. Includes: Private<br />

transportation to the miner market and the<br />

mine, mining gear (boots, helmets, lamps and<br />

water proof jackets), tour guide, entrance fee to<br />

the mine. Not Included: Gifts for the miners<br />

(coca leafs, dynamite, detonators, etc) however,<br />

the suggested amount for a gift is around 30<br />

Bs. /person.<br />

SUCRE - CITY TOUR: HALF DAY<br />

Approximately three hours. We visit the main<br />

museums of the city combining history, textiles,<br />

ethnography and folklore with the most<br />

representative outdoors sites such as plazas,<br />

and parks, as well as the architecture. It<br />

includes: Transportation: Private for the tour.<br />

Admissions: For 2 museums.<br />

Guide. Not Included: Rights of photography,<br />

filming, and special taxes.<br />

SUCRE TARABUCO FULL DAY TARABU :<br />

Although many visitors may miss the annual<br />

Phujllay celebrations in March, you will want to<br />

catch Tarabuco’s colorful, sprawling Sunday<br />

Market, which features high quality artesania:<br />

pullovers, charangos, coca pouches, ponchos<br />

and weavings that feature geometric and<br />

zoomorphic designs. The colorful wares lay out<br />

in stalls around the plaza and on the side<br />

streets lend a festive and a light – hearted<br />

atmosphere.<br />
