SECONd day
Breakfast 06:30 am. After breakfast drive to
Andagua town where we will visit the twin
volcanoes Johnson and Shippe, (200 mts high).
We will continuous to the view point of Ucuya
where we will have a view of the Kanalla Mauras
volcan, that is used as “arena” and the town of
Chachas with its Lagoon. After lunch we will
drive toward to the town of Chachas and its
lagoon. After the visit we will return to
Chilcaymarca.
Dinner and lodging.
third day
Breakfast at 6:30 am.
Today our journey will take us to the town of
Orcopampa, one of the most important Mining
center of the region where we will appreciate
also the waterfall of Panagua that almost is all
year frozen. Lunch. In the afternoon we will visit
the thermal bath of Huancarana for relaxing.
Dinner. Lodging in a basic hostel.
fourth day
Breakfast and drive forward to the the
incredible Colca Canyon, arriving in Sibayo town
around midday.
Lunch in Sibayo. In the afternoon an optional
walk from Canocota to the hot springs of La
Calera where a relax bath we’ll close our day.
Dinner and lodging in a tourist hotel.
fifth day
Breakfast buffet in the hotel (Included).
We will have our breakfast very early in the
morning and leave to the famous “Cruz del
Condor” point. Arrive to Cruz del Condor and
time enough to have an enjoyable view of the
deep of the Canyon and if the weather permits;
majestic pictures of the flight of the Condors.
On the way back to Chivay we’re going to visit
the traditional village of Pinchollo and the
“Antahuilque viewpoint”, where wonderful 1,500
year old terraces, constructed by the Collaguas, a
culture well before the Incas’ time, can be
observed. After lunch return to Arequipa city.
On the road forward to Arequipa we will have a
stop at the National Reserve of Pampa
Cañahuas, where we can appreciate vicuñas and
lamas in their natural habitat.
We’ll arrive at Arequipa city around 4 pm.
End of our service
Extensions: - Transfer to Puno on Lake Titicaca on
the last day. - Extra day in Colca. ( Shared a day with
a villager activity)
Important observation: No asphalted road on most
part of the trip
Material needed: Sleeping bag, rain poncho (if the
visit is in the rain season), walking shoes, sun glasses,
sun blocker, swimsuit, hat, personal medication.

3rd day). English/ Spanish Guide. First Aid box
