The combined efforts of the numerous health care options have helped establish New Lenox as a “health care
destination.”
New Lenox is the proud home of Silver Cross Hospital, located on
the north side of town at Route 6 and I-355. Through partnerships
with University of Chicago Medicine Comprehensive Cancer Center,
The Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago (RIC), Lurie Children’s
Hospital, Northwestern Medicine for neurosciences, specialists
continue to bring new treatments and therapies to New Lenox and
the surrounding communities. On the 120-acre campus, patients
also have access to primary and specialty physician offices, a
Cancer Center, Outpatient Testing Center, and the Center for
Women’s Health. Silver Cross is also a leader in minimally invasive
robotic surgery performing more procedures than any other facility

Women’s Center located in the
Healing Arts Pavilion features
specialists in cardiology,
endocrinology, breast health,
breast surgery, GI, cosmetic
and reconstructive plastic
surgery, oncology, neurology,
and gynecology. The Women’s
Center is now an Accredited
Breast Center that offers onsite
radiologists and procedures to
support all aspects of women’s breast health.
Additionally, a variety of physicians with various specialties
maintain offices in New Lenox.
