Let's look at each of the individual components of the MahaYajña<br />
Vitara.<br />
Graha Yajñas<br />
When a Graha Yajña is<br />
performed, devas are created that form a<br />
shield <strong>to</strong> protect the performer from the<br />
karma that will be delivered by the Graha.<br />
For example, Surya in the 11th Bhava of<br />
a person's Jyotish Chakra might indicate<br />
karma for inability <strong>to</strong> fulfill desires, hard<br />
work for any wealth gain and speculations will fail. Everyone comes in<strong>to</strong> this<br />
life with unrealized karma that is administered by the Grahas (Surya, Chandra,<br />
Kuja, etc.) <strong>to</strong> be delivered at the appropriate time in the life. This karma was<br />
selected by the Atman, and in cooperation with the Grahas, it is delivered<br />
during the life so that it can be balanced. The Atman is an aspect of Krishna<br />
that is your guardian, or sort of a nanny, that takes care of you in this universe.<br />
