structure at Kew
Gardens known as The
Hive allows visitors to
experience what life is
like inside a honeybee
colony thanks to sound
and light effects which
respond to the realtime
activity of bees
in a nearby beehive. It
creates quite a buzz.

Croydon
Late October sees the much-awaited
opening of Boxpark Croydon, a huge
collection of shipping-container shops
inside a roofed atrium in Croydon’s
Ruskin Square where independent
traders will offer casual food and drink.
There will also be festivals, markets, art,
film, theatre and live music.
