Since early 2015 C-Ventus has become a wholly owned
subsidiary of DISA International.
Today C-Ventus is a dynamic and continuously evolving
company responding to the ever changing needs and
further maturation of the market. With our head office in
the port area of IJmuiden, near Amsterdam, and an office
in the United Kingdom, C-Ventus has rapidly become
known as a capable and competent service provider for
the offshore wind segment.
A strong marine background combined with state of
the art equipment and highly qualified personnel has
enabled us to assist in the safe, on-time and within
budget completion of installation projects as well as
the management of BoP works for some of the world’s
leading energy providers.
Our track-record comprises project and marine
operations management, export and inter-array cable
pull-ins , shore-landings, pre and post installation surveys,
UXO remediation as well as subsea support by both
divers and ROV’s, whereas our BoP services include the
inspection, repair and maintenance (IRM) of the offshore
infrastructure, aside from turbines.
We pride ourselves on being truly client driven, resulting
in a close working relationship with our clients to provide
support during the entire economic life-cycle of offshore
wind farms.

Having a pro-active outlook and striving to supply
aims to be the preferred professional partners for our
client’s delivery teams during the installation phase of
new windfarms. C-Ventus has meanwhile assisted the
major installation companies on numerous projects
by conducting the following works:
• Inter-array and export cable pull-ins,
• Shore landings including directional drilling,
• Route surveys,
• Grapnel and UXO detection and clearance,
• Various subsea works with divers or ROV’s,
• Rope Access services,
• Marine operations including the selection
and chartering of floating assets.

To minimize downtime and the cost of repairs, C-Ventus
believes in a pro-active operations & maintenance
concept, based on in-depth familiarization with the
characteristics of a specific windfarm. C-Ventus has been
rendering long term operations & maintenance services
to various windfarms in Western Europe and as such has
developed tailor made service packages for the operators
of these windfarms. The overall goal being to bring down
costs within a safe and healthy working environment, we
reduce and streamline interfaces, utilise synergies and
combine the strengths of all stake holders in continuous
and close consultation. We provide local support and
a single point of contact, available 24/7, managing and
overseeing the scope of work and the challenges posed
by offshore assignments. All data collected in the process,
including status updates on all components, can be
made available real-time in order to determine condition
and evaluation of critical items and to enable timely

develop decommissioning plans for a number of clients
in order to aid in the preparation of methodologies,
inclusive of required resources and time-schedules, as
well as corresponding budgets. On that basis C-Ventus
has been able to identify the potential financial exposure
in relation to decommissioning which subsequently
has been translated into realistic financial provisions
for these works.

ACCESS SPECIALISTS.
Rope access is a highly effective method for working at
heights using ropes and industrial climbing equipment
to gain access to difficult work location. Rope access
techniques can be used in combination with conventional
working methods, e.g. to install scaffolding or mobile
working platforms on which subsequently a variety
of technicians can perform their specialist works in a
completely safe environment.
Rope access according to the C-Ventus standards is
being regarded as a complete system, in which planning,
management, maintenance and provision of competent
and qualified personnel as well as certified equipment are
considered equally importance and crucial aspects of a
comprehensive and safe system of work.
C-Ventus is an operational and active member of the
Industrial Rope Access Trade Association (IRATA) which
is known as the leading association in the working at
heights sector and which ensures that C-Ventus has a
strong focus on safety and on continuous improvement
of the rope access standards.

Our people are trained, certified to applicable industry
standards and have worked on offshore projects around
the world, in both small and large multi-cultural teams
and on equally diverse scopes of work. Project teams are
composed with constant care and consist of personnel
with the skill-sets, expertise and experience required
to complete a project without incidents or accidents,
on time and within budget.
A key feature of our way of working is the preparation
by the entire project team of a Project Execution Plan
at the start of every project. Together with standard
documentation such as Method Statements and
Risk Assessments, the PEP assists in closely monitoring
and managing all aspects of a project and enables our
teams to have a coordinated and structured approach
to every challenge that may present itself during
the execution phase.
To further complement our teams we are continuously

C-Ventus owns and maintains an extensive pool of
equipment supporting our subsea works as well as the
activities above the waterline. Based on the philosophy
that “we provide our people with the best possible tools
to obtain the best possible results”, no concessions are
made in the purchasing and maintaining of specialized
equipment that is required to function without any
problems in an offshore environment. The state of the art
equipment that is selected and mobilized by our teams
will assist in optimizing project outcome in terms of
safety, quality and underlying economics.
Our equipment ranges from diving equipment to
Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROV’s) and from directional
drilling systems to cable pull-in sets, including mobile
winches. All equipment is stored, maintained and
certified by our own technicians in our own warehouses
located in Belgium and The Netherlands.
C-Ventus also stores and handles windfarm critical
spares on behalf of its clients, such as spare inter-array
and export cables, cable joints and cable protection
equipment.
