A few words about our project<br />
Creating an English School Newspaper is an enjoyable, creative<br />
and educational process!<br />
This project aspires to involve many European learners in the<br />
creation of a common Newspaper! Each issue will be thematic, so<br />
that all participants can get an idea of what is going on in their<br />
partners' side.<br />
It is a fun-filled project that will help everyone realize the<br />
emergence of English as an international language and help them<br />
expand their horizons. Using English as the vehicle, this project<br />
will provide useful insight on their peers' daily routine,<br />
interests, customs and mentality, allowing everyone thus to<br />
become more tolerant with diversity.<br />

For our final summer issue we have prepared two quizzes for<br />

We have a question for you: Have you ever visited an island? You are the best candidate for a holiday in<br />
the mountains, but we’re sure you already know that! By the way, the Greek mountains are an excellent<br />
destination for both summer and winter holidays!<br />
More Cs: Sightseeing and museums<br />
You don’t like islands, mountains or lakes, no landscape makes you happy. Probably, sightseeing and museums<br />
are perfect for you. So go to the Big Ben in London. It is beautiful. Good luck.<br />

More Ds: The family cottage<br />
Congratulations! You are mama’s boy/girl! The best holiday destination for you is the family cottage! You like<br />
to be with your family and you wish to have fun with your relatives. I hope you enjoy your holidays spending<br />
more time with your grandparents!<br />
Most Es: There is no place like home!<br />
As it seems, you are very lazy and you like to sleep a lot. You don’t even have a favourite food and your<br />
life may be a little bit miserable. We can also understand that you don’t have a lot of money and you can’t<br />
take decisions easily.<br />
So, we think that you shouldn’t spend your time and money somewhere out of the ordinary this year because<br />
you will probably be very bored.<br />
Safety and ... other rules<br />
Rules for the summer holidays<br />
1. Protect your skin by wearing sunscreen.<br />
2. Be friendly to tourists.<br />
3. Learn to swim so you can impress everyone.<br />
4. Don’t rent deck chairs. They’re too expensive.<br />
You should buy an ice cream instead.<br />
5. Throw all your school books to forget all the bad memories.<br />

In summer everybody moves somewhere, spending sometimes long hours in a car, a bus or a plane. For those<br />
moments of boredom we want to offer you some funny activities to pass the time.<br />
How many actions are you able to spell?<br />

WORD SEARCHES<br />
Choose a level and have fun!! (on our last page you’ll find the key for every word search, just in<br />
case you need them)<br />
EASY MEDIUM DIFFICULT<br />
The aim of this word game is to find and mark all the words hidden inside the box. The words may be placed<br />
horizontally, vertically or diagonally. Depending on the level you choose, the words may also appear from right to<br />
left or share letters among different words.<br />

Another activity you can play with your friends or family is a BINGO.<br />
You will need a copy for each player and a person who will say the different words included on the boards. When<br />
an action that is on your board is said out loud, you will cross it out. If you cross out all the activities in a row, say<br />
LINE! and if you get to cross all them out, say BINGO!<br />
Another game you can play is acting out musical instruments for your friends to guess which one you are<br />
