Germany Always a smooth and efficient journey with the DKV CARD Since 1 October 2015, all trucks > 7.5 tonnes total weight have to pay a distance-based toll charge to use German motorways. The tariff is based on emission class, number of axles and length of toll route travelled. Invoicing options 1. Use your Toll Collect on-board unit the number of kilometres travelled is recorderd fully electronically. You pay all the incurred charges afterwards through your DKV invoice. 2. Use your login details from Toll Collect over the Internet and pay the truck toll afterwards quickly and easily though DKV. 3. Use your DKV CARD when you pay at the toll terminal and save valuable time. Austria The distance-based Go-Maut system with the GO-Box on-board-unit applies to trucks and coaches with a total weight of more than 3.5 tonnes on Austrian motorways and expressways. Vehicles weighing 3.5 tonnes or less require a motorway vignette. Payment options 1. Pre-pay process The toll is collected fully electronically via your GO-Box when driving through the toll booths. You need to charge your GO-Box with credit in advance at one of the service stations. 2. Post-pay process The fully electronic toll network records your actual distance travelled in kilometers. The toll charges are simply and conveniently billed later through your GO-Box. 3. DKV CARD Pay for your motorway vignette and the special tolls for vehicles weighing 3.5 tonnes or less cash-free with your DKV CARD. ! Save time: the GO-Box allows you to drive through the toll booth without stopping. ! Save money with the post-pay process: DKV grants you a longer payment period and a definite liquidity advantage.
