Bulgaria, Latvia, Lithuania Easy, convenient and cash-free toll Payment with the DKV CARD Bulgaria The truck toll in Bulgaria is collected by vignette and is therefore time-related. All trucks and cars on the Bulgarian national road network are subject to toll charges. They can be purchased at fuel stations in Bulgaria operated by OMV and Petrol, and at the toll booth at the Danube Bridge 2 (“New Europe”) bridge in Widin. Latvia The motorway toll applies to all vehicles with a total weight of more than 3.5 tonnes for the use of any motorway. The present toll network consists of 3,500 km of roads subject to toll. There are currently 93 DKV acceptance points for the toll in Latvia. Vignettes can be purchased using the DKV CARD at 34 Lukoil fuels stations in addition to 59 operated by Statoil. Lithuania A road use fee applies to trucks and coaches on the transit routes through Lithuania (A1 to A18). It is collected by vignette and is therefore time-based. Vignettes can be purchased at all border crossings and at any Statoil fuel station in Lithuania. Romania Since 1 October 2010 all vehicles must have an electronic vignette when driving on the national road network in Romania. The price of a vignette is based on the length of the stay.
