Completely electronic billing of the truck toll in Belarus through DKV<br />
A distance-based electronic toll has applied in Belarus to all vehicles since 1 July 2013. Trucks and coaches<br />
with a total weight of more than 3.5 tonnes require an on-board unit for the toll. The operator is Bel<strong>Toll</strong> and the<br />
road network subject to toll charges has a total length of 1.513 km.<br />
A ticket must be bought at a Bel<strong>Toll</strong> point of sale (POS) or online via DKV. The following documents need to<br />
be presented at the POS:<br />
! Copy of the vehicle registration certificate(s)<br />
! Power of attorney (original) – this needs to be granted to the driver by the legally authorised representative<br />
to allow the driver to pick up the OBUs and sign the vehicle list)<br />
! The driver needs to be able to show his or her ID / passport<br />
