Slovakia<br />
The Slovakian MYTO SK toll system, is a distance-based toll that applies to all motor vehicles weighing more<br />
than 3.5 tonnes . All vehicles subject to toll charges must be fitted with a MYTO on-board unit (OBU).<br />
Pre-pay process<br />
The charges are booked fully electronically through your OBU when you drive through the toll booths. You<br />
pick up your OBU in advance at a service station using your DKV CARD. For this you must lodge a security<br />
deposit and charge the OBU with credit.<br />
You are able to load your OBU with credit using your DKV CARD, however you are unable to pay for the<br />
€ 50,00 deposit with your DKV CARD.<br />
VERY IMPORTANT! Upon departure you need to return the OBU, if you do not return the OBU before you<br />
leave Slovakia you will be fined with € 250,00.<br />
