He was born Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun but his teaming fans
know him by his stage name, Wizkid. The song writer,
recording artiste and performer is, perhaps, one of Nigeria’s
biggest pop stars.
A darling to millions, he started his music career at an
early age of 11. His youth and good looks immediately
endeared many to him. From that early beginning, the star
boy rose to prominence with the release of his hit song,
“Holla at Your boy” in 2010.
Although he has been in the middle of several
unpleasant controversies, he remains loved by his fans.
Wizkid is not only talented, he is good looking as well. With
age on his side, the award-winning artiste is very trendy,
embracing a youthful style that is a bit street wise but
tastefully executed.
The Ojuelegba crooner, who sees Pharell Williams as
one of his style icons, makes fashion statement with his
bandanas, sunglasses, multiple neck chains, baseball caps
and trendy, designer sneakers.
In an interview with ‘Vogue Magazine’, he says: “I like
colourful shoes because, most of the time I wear black; I
want it to be where my shoes are popping.”
The tattoo-spotting artiste is the recipient of several
music awards, including ‘BET Awards’, ‘Future
Awards’, ‘The Headies Awards’ etc. He was ranked
5th on Forbes and Channel O’s 2013 list of ‘Top
10 Richest/Bankable African Artistes”.

Born Kingsley Chinweike Okonkwo, Kcee as
he is popularly known, is a graduate of the
University of Nigeria, Nsukka, where he
studied Theatre Arts. The ‘Limpopo’ crooner
broke into the music industry with his
long-time friend and partner, Presh, whom
he met in the choir in church.
Together, they entered for the Star Quest
reality show and won.
Both friends made impact in the music
industry in Nigeria until 2011, when they split
to go chase their individual dreams.
Kcee is a complete show man who likes
to dress himself to his audience’s admiration.
Most times, he is spotted in white apparel - a
pair of trousers or shirt.
His obvious and favourite fashion item is
the glittering stud ear rings that has become
his signature style. He is reported to have
said once that he can’t be caught dead
without a pair.
He has over 30 of these ear rings in his
collection.
The winner of ‘Most Gifted Dance Video
of the Headies 2013’ for his song, Limpopo,
also makes style statement with the tattoos
ingrained in his upper arms - a rose flower,
two birds, a diamond and a star.
His accessories of long gold chains and
dramatic pendants, rings and power suits
make his greatest fashion statement.

Born as Panshak Henri Zamani in the city of Minna,
Niger State, he took the name ‘Ice Prince’ as his
music career began. The artiste who grew up in
Jos, Plateau State, rose to fame after releasing
“Oleku”, one of Nigeria’s most re-mixed songs of all
time.
The hip hop artiste never fails to impress where
fashion is concerned. He has mastered his dress
sense that complements his genre of music and
comes out slaying in different looks. He does street
style tastefully and when he needs to do suits, he
slays also.
Like his counterparts in the music industry, he
has some fashion items that mark him out. Known
for his Timberlands, baseball caps, fedoras, sextons
and sneakers, he also accessorizes with gold neck
chains. His good looks can also be attributed to his
well-groomed beard.

Olamide Adedeji, also called by his stage name, Olamide, is a
recording artiste and the Boss of YBNL Records. The product of Tai
Solarin University of Education is popularly referred to as ‘Olamide
Baddo’.
The artiste, who mostly sings in his native Yoruba language, has
taken music beyond the shores of this country.
Very street-wise and growing up in Bariga, Lagos, helped shaped his
style which is very- rooted in the streets; although he can bring on the
swag in quite corporate ensemble.
The controversial artiste, who released his debut studio album titled
Rapsodi in 2011, has joined the league of Nigerian singers who have
a clothing line. His label is called: Baddo Unlimited Urban Clothing. In
2013, he became the first Nigerian to sign an endorsement deal with
Cîroc.
When he is not rocking a suit, he is casually styled in one of his

MORINGA OLEIFERA
Moringa is like a “vegetable tree,” loaded with health
and beauty supporting vitamins, minerals, and
enzymes, making it a true superfood in every sense of
the word. The Moringa tree originates from India,
where it has been prized for thousands of years, both as
a bountiful source of nutrition, and a robust curative
featured heavily in the ancient Ayurveda Medicine
tradition. The tall, thin moringa tree has been used for
centuries as a cure-all in its native Indian and North
Africa.
It’s a food that makes a strong first impression, given
the significant effects it can have on the human body.
While I was initially impressed by its nutrient profile
(loaded with 90 nutrients including all nine essential
amino acids, making it one of the few plant-based
complete proteins), I was a little taken aback to
discover its irreversible effects on female fertility!
The potency of moringa serves as a great reminder of
how powerful our foods really are, and how important
it is to do your research before jumping on any new
health food bandwagon. No doubt this “miracle tree”
can do great things for your body, but it’s essential to
know all of the other impacts it can have.
10 THINGS YOU DIDN’T KNOW ABOUT
MORINGA
1. Moringa is a world traveler:
While moringa is native to southern Asia and northern
Africa, you can now find it growing all across the world.
Commercial production of moringa has not only spread
through the rest of Africa and Asia, new farms have
also sprung up in Central America, South America, and
even Hawaii. Because it doesn’t do well in colder
weather, there isn’t currently any large-scale American
production of moringa. You could actually try growing
it yourself if you live in a warm climate, though the
easiest route to get it is to simply purchase it in
powdered form from a health store.
2. Moringa is a traditional cure-all:
Moringa got its nickname, “miracle-tree,” from its
varied characteristics and purposes including its ability
to treat a wide variety of ailments. Science has proven
than it does indeed posses a
number of medicinal qualities,
including being an
antibacterial, antiviral,
antifungal, and antiinflammatory,
which would
explain why it grew to prominence
as a cure-all. Different parts of the tree,
including the leaves, flowers, and seeds, have each
been used to treat different ailments. Traditionally, its
leaves were steeped in water to make tea as a treatment
for diarrhea, fevers, or various infections. The flowers
can also be used to make tea, and have been used to
improve the quality and amount of a mother’s breast
milk. The leaves or crushed seeds were made into
poultices to treat wounds, as they have antibacterial
and antifungal properties. Due to its high nutritional
content, moringa is also an important food source in
some parts of the world, particularly in India and
Africa, where it is used in feeding programs to fight
malnutrition. The pods, which are called drumsticks,
are prepared similar to green beans, and the seeds are
cooked like peas or roasted like nuts. The leaves are
sometimes cooked like spinach, or the powdered leaves
used as a condiment.

3. Moringa is a natural birth control:
Moringa, like many other Indian herbs, has been found
to be an effective anti-fertility treatment in both in vitro
and animal studies. Therefore, women in their
childbearing years should avoid it completely. The
plant chemicals in moringa root, (which are more
potent than the leaves) have been found to cause a
fertilized egg not to be able to attach to the lining of the
uterine wall, preventing pregnancy, as detailed in this
study. It is unclear whether moringa leaves will have
the same affect (simply because there are no studies
that disprove this), so it’s best to be precautionary.
Once pregnant, there is indeed evidence that ingesting
the less potent moringa leaves will cause a miscarriage
100% of the time. Traditional literature indicates that
moringa was used as a permanent form of birth
control, and even today, in certain parts of India, like
West Bengal, it is taken by prostitutes to avoid
unwanted pregnancies. So ladies, step away from the
moringa until you’re sure you don’t want kids. Women
who are not looking to get pregnant and men shouldn’t
be adversely affected from moringa leaves. Moringa
root should be avoided by all, as it not only prevents
pregnancy, but also contains toxins that can be lethal.

counsel, how about the big plastic bottle water: C Water
& others that are left in the open by retailers, exposed to
very intense sun shine daily. Are there no toxins leakage?

research, the big plastic bottles i.e. C Way etc are made
from a different and tougher kind of material that is not as
vulnerable when placed under hot temperatures like the
normal PET plastic water bottles. So they do not hold the
risk of toxins leakage like the normal PET. Have a great
