Oh, guard your heart, it means your life;
Pre - pare your heart to search for God
Pro - tect your heart from harm - ful thoughts;
A - void the path of sin.
By means of ear - nest prayer.
Con - sid - er what is true.
God reads the heart, and there he finds
With con - stan - cy, give praise and thanks;
Al - low God’s Word to reach your heart,

Con - fide each need and care.
