Welcome Back to <strong>Los</strong> <strong>Angeles</strong> !<br />
“Until the City of Champions Stadium has finished construction and is ready for use, the <strong>Rams</strong> will play<br />
their home games at the <strong>Los</strong> <strong>Angeles</strong> Memorial Coliseum, which had been home to the team for 33<br />
seasons (1946–1979), and is currently the home of the USC Trojans college football team.<br />
The <strong>Rams</strong> move to <strong>Los</strong> <strong>Angeles</strong> is also being used to help expand the league’s presence around the<br />
globe. In <strong>2016</strong>, the <strong>Rams</strong> will face the New York Giants in London at Twickenham Stadium, as part<br />
of the NFL’s International Series. The <strong>Rams</strong> are also expected to play a game in China in time for the<br />
2018 NFL season. Kevin Demoff, the team’s Executive Vice President of Football Operations/Chief Operating<br />
Officer sees L.A. as a gateway to Asia and says being in L.A. will help sell the brand, more so,<br />
than in St. Louis.<br />
On April 13, <strong>2016</strong>, the <strong>Los</strong> <strong>Angeles</strong> <strong>Rams</strong> traded their <strong>2016</strong> first-round pick, two second-round picks,<br />
a third-round pick, and their <strong>2017</strong> first-round and third-round picks to the Tennessee Titans in<br />
exchange for the number one pick, alongside their fourth-round pick and a sixth-round pick.<br />
The <strong>Rams</strong> waited until after Lakers guard Kobe Bryant’s last game before announcing the trade.<br />
On April 28, <strong>2016</strong>, the <strong>Rams</strong> selected quarterback Jared Goff in the 1st round with the 1st overall pick,<br />
tight end Tyler Higbee and wide receiver Pharoh Cooper in the 4th round with the 110th and 117th<br />
picks, tight end Temarrick Hemingway, linebacker Josh Forrest, and wide receiver Michael Thomas in<br />
the 6th round with the 190th, 193th, and 206th picks.”<br />
