SHORT-TERM CLASSES IN WEST POINT 

COMPUTER & TECHNOLOGY 

COMPUTER BASICS, LEVEL 1. Learn the basics of using a computer. 

You will begin with skills such as powering the computer on and off, 

using a mouse and keyboard, utilizing the desktop and launching 

programs. This class will be taught at a very relaxed pace with 

significant hands-on practice, and is appropriate for the person with 

very limited computer knowledge or none at all. Mon., 9 am – 12

COMPUTER BASICS, LEVEL 2. Learn the basics of using a computer. 

You will expand your skills by learning to use a word processor and 

work with tool and task bars. Performing basic formatting functions 

and saving and printing documents will also be covered. This

practice, and is appropriate for the person with very limited

EXCEL, LEVEL 1. Explore the essentials of Microsoft Excel to 

analyze, manage and share data of all kinds. Learn to construct and

and formatting techniques to evaluate and organize your data

EMAIL BASICS. A brief introduction to skills needed to use email.

MS OUTLOOK. Outlook is a personal information software program 

that’s available with the Microsoft Office Suite. Although it’s mostly 

used as an email client, it can also be used for managing tasks, keeping 

your calendar, managing contacts, taking notes, journaling, and even 

connecting with friends and colleagues via social networks. Unlike other 

email programs, Outlook can be your email program and planner all in

anymore! We will explore YouTube, Hulu, Spotify, Pandora, Facebook, 

Twitter and many other resources that are available online. You will not

INTERNET FOR SENIORS. Join the adventure of exploring the Internet!

I would like to thank everyone who had a part in making our BBQ sale a huge 

success. A special thanks goes out to Cuming County Feeders for doing a great 

job with the burgers and all the ladies and 

F&M Bank personnel who took time off to 

help serve the burgers. Most of all, I would 

like to compliment the cattle producers for 

doing a great job with their stock. We found 

a good active market on all weight classes.

15th with some super sets pending. If you

Had a nice run of fats for our Thursday sale finding a market that was under 

pressure finding a $111.50 top on a good set of steers. We found the weigh 

cows and bulls to stay steady for another week finding a big charge of cows in 

the 70’s. We ended with a short run of feeders and also found great activity on 

all weight classes.
