Works by triggering electrochemical oxidation reduction(by copper
and zinc in the media) to water for CaCO3 etc to remain in solution.
Also ion reaction for bacteria stifling effect. Often used with
Activated Carbon or a part of many filtering in a drinking water
system. Stand along system usually need backwash every month or
