Beth Ann Gallagher cast an absentee ballot in Iowa on behalf of her
daughter, who had recently moved to Minnesota (and who also voted
in Minnesota) in the 2012 election. Gallagher pleaded guilty to false
representation of records or process and paid a fine.
Nickie Dean Perkins, a felon, registered to vote and voted in the 2012
general election. He pleaded guilty to first-degree election misconduct
and received a five-year suspended sentence and two years’ probation.
