He was sentenced to serve one year in the Ramsey County Correctional Facility, with 227 days of his sentence stayed. He received two years’ supervised probation and was ordered to pay a $50 fine. Kerry Kellar of Cass Lake was convicted of knowingly voting despite being ineligible. She was sentenced to 366 days’ imprisonment, which was stayed in favor of 5 years of supervised probation. MINNESOTA MINNESOTA Kristy Ellen Dettle CONVICTED: 2008 Fraudulent Use of Absentee Ballots Matthew James Hinman CONVICTED: 2009 Ineligible Voting Kristy Dettle from Fridley, Minnesota was charged with voting more than once in the same election, making or signing a false certificate, and making a false or untrue statement on an absentee ballot application. She pled guilty to voting more than once, and the other charges were dismissed. She was sentenced to one year of probation and a fine of $1,000. Matthew Hinman was charged with false registration and knowingly voting while ineligible in the 2008 election. He was convicted of the later and was sentenced to 1 year in prison, 1 year of unsupervised probation, and a $3,000 fine (of which $2,700 was stayed for 1 year).
