Janet Milner painter/printmaker. Janet’s most recent work plays on the commonality<br />

of everyday experiences. Her figurative and text based works result from gestural<br />

mark-making. She is a selected artist for this year’s East Sussex Open at the Towner<br />

Josephine Ho- textile/mixed media paintings using plant and rust dyes,<br />

inspired by landscape, movement and translucency.<br />

Freya Hubbard - Oil/acrylic painter - abstracted seascape and landscape,<br />

using texture and sombre palette, intensifying the atmospherics.<br />

Paul Marchant - Artist/geometer focusing on experiments with<br />

universal geometry and expression of exquisite colour in nature.<br />

Brenda will be showing a wide range of her works produced over 45 years, along with<br />

new unique abstract collages and mixed-media paintings. These include her embossed<br />

watercolours, encaustic wax and acrylic paintings. She is best known for her heavily<br />

embossed limited edition etchings and collagraphs, based on landscape forms.<br />

See a good selection of her early, rare, finely detailed figurative etchings including some Artist Proofs at half price.<br />

She is a member of the Royal Society of Painter Printmakers, the Rye Society of Artists, and Pure Arts Group and has<br />

shown in galleries worldwide, including Bankside Gallery London, New Academy Gallery London, Cambridge<br />

Contemporary Art & locally Saffron Gallery, Battle. Her influential book “Collagraphs and Mixed-media Printmaking” and<br />

her DVD about her work and methods, “Collagraph, a sculptural approach to printmaking” will be available, to view<br />
