Ko Moe Naing tốt nghiệp Đại học Yangon
vào năm 1991. Ông trở thành một nhạc công
đàn phím chuyên nghiệp và là một phần của
sân khấu âm nhạc Yangon từ 1992 đến 2000.
Suốt thời gian đó, ông được nhận học bổng
của Đại học Payap và tốt nghiệp ngành Khoa
học âm nhạc & biểu diễn Piano vào năm
2001. Ko Moe Naing thành lập Trung tâm âm
nhạc Gitameit vào năm 2003 và đoàn hợp
xướng Gitameit Voices vào năm 2004. Kể từ
đó, ông làm việc với tư cách là người chỉ huy
dàn nhạc. Ông cũng soạn nhạc cho đoàn Gitameit
Voices và đã biểu diễn nhiều buổi hòa
nhạc tại Yangon. Vào năm 2009, đoàn hợp
xướng đã đi lưu diễn ở Nhật Bản và Hoa Kỳ.
Mùa hè năm 2010, Naing đã học tại Đại học
hợp xướng Westminster, Princeton – Hoa Kỳ
và tại Đại học Mahidol tại Thái Lan (chỉ huy

viện âm nhạc Legacy.
Ko Moe Naing graduated from Yangon University
in 1991. He became a professional
piano player and part of the Yangon music
scene from 1992 to 2000. During that time
he was awarded a scholarship from the
Payap University and graduated in Music
Science and Piano Performance in 2001.
In 2003 Ko Moe Naing founded the Gitameit
Music Center and started his choir
Gitameit Voices in 2004. Since that time he
has been working as the choir’s conductor.
He also composes and arranges music pieces
for the Gitameit Voices and performed
many concerts in Yangon. In 2009 the choir
toured through Japan and the United States
of America.
In the summer of 2010 Naing studied at
the Westminster Choir College in Princeton,
USA and also at the Mahidol University
in Thailand (orchestra conducting).
Currently he is the director of the Gitameit
Music Center and principal of the Legacy
Music Academy.
