As the chairman of the people’s committee
of Hội An city, I would like to bid you my
warmest welcome to Hội An – the city of
world cultural heritage where the 3 rd Vietnam
International Choir Festival will take
place.
Following the success of 1 st Vietnam International
Choir Competition – Hội An 2011,
this year, Quang Nam province and Hội An
city keep cooperating with Interkultur to
organize the competition. We are proud of
its result and do hope that this year’s event
will be positively promoted and will bring
much more success.
H ộ i An’s reminded as the city of world cultural
heritage, beautiful lanscapes, charming
island, traditional villages and friendly
local people. When visiting the ancient
town, everyone can have a leisurely walk
along with harmonious music, and it is
very easy to catch the delicate souvenirs,
nice restaurants with various Hội An specialities.
We feel very glad to welcome choirs from
the world to Hội An to participate in this
event. We believe that Hội An will be an
ideal place for local as well as international
choirs coming together to raise our voice
singing for our friendly relationship.
I wish all participants a lot of success and
great experiences when celebrating and
performing in the streets in the peaceful
H ộ i An ancient town.
On behalf of Hội An city’s authority and
people, I would like to thank the Ministry
of Culture, Sports & Tourism and the
Peoples’s Committee of Quang Nam Province
for supporting. And I would like to
thank Interkultur for again choosing Hội
An to cooperate in organizing this important
international event.
