The mission of Greek Life is to promote
character and leadership development,
academic achievement, diverse community
involvement, and lifelong bonds through
principles encompassed in our rituals.
What is Greek Life?
Greek Life is a social and professional atmosphere
where a large group of people are committed to
relationships and helping each other achieve their
personal and professional dreams. Grand Valley boasts
32 national and international fraternities and sororities
represented on its campuses. Getting involved in
one could be your ticket to knowing a huge chunk of
your fellow Lakers because 8% of GVSU students are
part of Greek Life.
Greek Life at GVSU keeps their core values at the
center of their interactions within membership, Laker
society, and the greater Grand Rapids community.
