On behalf of the people of North Sulawesi,
I warmly welcome all participants
and guests of The 3 rd Asia Pacific Choir
Games 2013 to Manado, The Land of
Smiling People. North Sulawesi with its
15 regencies/cities, has been developed
as one of the tourism destinations in
Indonesia. Beside natural resources, the
land has thousands of art and cultural
richness as well as long tradition of choral
music.
North Sulawesi is proud to host this
third edition of Asia Pacific Choir Games
and I believe this event offers the people
of North Sulawesi as well as numerous
guests, a moment to listen and experience
the best choirs. I also hope much
friendship could be established across
all boundaries of the world. I am looking
forward and hope this event will
be a contribution for bringing spirit of
friendship and encouragement as well
as understanding among the Asia Pacific
participants through choral.
It is very important to me to thank all
those who have been involved. Without
their support and joint effort this
3 rd Asia Pacific Choir Games would not
have been possible. I wish all the participants
who meet the challenge of
this competition every success and all
the best. May you have wonderful moments
and memories to be taken home
from North Sulawesi.
