Villa René Lalique
Villa René Lalique pays homage to the century-old heritage of the visionary artist of the same name. The Villa, built in 1920,
was home to the founder and his family during their stays in Alsace. Under the direction of Swiss Silvio Denz, Chairman
and CEO of Lalique, the legendary villa has reinvented itself by being transformed into the sumptuous setting of an ultrasophisticated
hotel with extravagant suites and a gourmet restaurant. The breathtaking wine-cellar was created by swiss
architect Mario Botta. The interior design by Lady Tina Green and Pietro Mingarelli, both in charge of the furniture and
accessories of 'Lalique Maison', lures the guests into a world of glass, art and the glamorous era of Art Deco.
A truly enchanting place in the midst of the natural beauty
of the Alsacian region, hidden in the woods, sheltered
behind wrought-iron gates. The outer appearance of the
villa was maintained whereas the interior was refurbished
to the highest requirements of luxury and elegance. Nowadays,
six stylish suites and a lounge are part of the historical
estate.
The modern annexe has become a highlight in the art of
glass and the art of cooking. Magnificent, light-flooded and
full of glass objects - every detail is a feast of the senses
culminating in the cuisine of two-star chef Jean-George
Klein. Together with his chef Jérôme Schilling, sous-chef
Michel Scheidler and his team he has composed set meals
to provide an insight into his creative world. Also at his side
'Meilleur Sommelier de France' Romain Iltis with whom he
has meticulously evaluated the menu in order to find com-
binations of dishes and wines complementing each other to
the fullest. Chef Pâtissier Nicolas Multon - following the credo of
René Lalique - draws his inspiration from the flora and creates
sweet magic to conclude your dinner.
