Shelter Armchair
Interiors guru and seminal furniture designer Christian
Liaigre is the ‘king of minimalism’ who changed the design
scene in the 1990s and has continued to influence the
world of design with his exquisite, deceptively simple furniture
and striking interiors. Liaigre has branches all over
the world: Paris, New York, Bangkok, London, St. Barths.
Now the interior designer finally opened his first showroom
in Germany-speaking countries. He chose Munich as the
perfect location. Enjoy it to visit the fantastic showroom on
Brienner Strasse 12, 80333 Munich.
“Ask the wood what it would be.”
www.ernst-gamperl.de
Ernst Gamperl lives near Munich and his works
are wellknown all over the world. His sculptures aren’t
just turned on the lathe, they’re the fruit of more than 20
years of painstaking toiling with the medium wood like
maple, beech, Italian olive tree and principally oak.
He has studied its drying properties and their impact on
the sculpture. Ernst Gamperl has the gift of turning wood
into what it would be. And that’s fabulous.
